The pattern is written using US crochet terminology.
The Pattern was fully tested and tech edited.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. The texture of the shawl is achieved mainly through front and back post stitches, chain spaces and cluster stitches.

YARN: #4 Medium Worsted Weight, Aran; USED HERE: Stylecraft Special Aran With Wool, 2493 Pale Rose Nepp, 1400 m (1530 yds)

HOOK: 6 mm US J-10 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE: 13.5 dc x 7 rows = 10 cm (4’’) before blocking

CONSTRUCTION: The shawl is worked flat, in rows, widthwise, in one piece and with pockets attached later.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Before blocking shawl is approximately: 43 cm / 16.9’’ wide and 189 cm / 74.4’’ long.
