Diamond Knots is created using the overlay mosaic technique.

The PDF has four full easy-to-read charts, with corresponding written instructions (using US and UK terms).

You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern, just remember a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet.

If using Stylecraft Special DK and a 4mm hook, you will need approximately 7 skeins for the shawl – this includes a long fringe edge.

• 4 skeins for colour A
• 3 skeins for colour B

Between 2090 - 2251 yards (1911 - 2058 m)
The shawl size without a border will be approx. 170 cm x 50 cm.

You can of course create any size you want as it’s a simple repeating pattern, and the pattern download includes instructions and yardage for small and large, vertical and horizontal afghans.

I hope you enjoy creating your own Diamond Knots - whether it’s a blanket, a cushion cover, a scarf, a table runner, a wrap or anything else you can think of.

Please do share your creations online and tag #getyerhookon and #diamondknotscrochet.

Happy Crocheting
