These lovely feminine gloves are knit with a diamond motif lace panel positioned on the back of the hand.

Knit in fingering weight yarn, the gloves are lightweight and warm.

Knitting from fingertip to wrist allows for a custom fit as the gloves can be tried on in-progress with finished fingertips.

Yarn ends are sewn in as the knitting progresses making construction easier and cleaner looking.

The thumb join is placed exactly where it needs to be, there is no need to estimate or wear a glove that doesn’t fit.

The classic diamond lace panel has been updated with an outline around each motif.

For the knitter who is familiar with using double pointed needles but has never tried gloves, this pattern gives step by step instructions with notes to make the process clear, allowing the knitter to focus on the knitting.

The gloves were knit in recycled over-dyed yarn. Only 30 grams or approximately 170 yards are needed, so this is the time to use up a partial ball, grab your needles, any fingering weight yarn in your stash and start knitting.

The pattern has two sizes, small will fit hands measuring 6 1/2” or medium 7 3/4″ around palm.
