Small story behind Diamond Skies:
Diamond Skies was created after falling head over heels with this color combination, and so I set out to create a simple yet semi-intricate design to highlight the duo.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Yarn Used:

• I Love This Yarn! (color Ivory; 355 yards, 7 ounces per skein)
• I Love This Yarn! (color Blue Spruce; 355 meters, 7 ounces)

Crochet Hooks:

• Size 5.0 mm (US H/8) crochet hook for the main body of blanket
• Size 4.5 mm (US G/7) crochet hook for the border

Yarn Quantities:
For the featured blanket, including the border, I used approximately 3.5 skeins of the I Love This Yarn! ivory color (1,250 yards) and 5.5 skeins of the I Love This Yarn! blue spruce color (1,950 yards).
This will create a blanket approximately 49” (width) x 55” (length) without the border, and 53” x 59” with the border
