Small story behind Nordic Snowflakes:
Nordic Snowflakes was created as the first installment of a Nordic design series. I’ve always loved Scandinavian, Germanic, etc. heritage, culture, themes and designs, and who doesn’t love snowflakes. There are endless ideas for this emerging project! I’m excited to embark on this crochet chapter and would love for you to join the journey!

GENERAL INFORMATION

Yarn Used:

• ’I Love This Yarn!’ color ivory; 355 yards, 7 ounces (325 meters, 199 grams) per skein
• ’I Love This Yarn!’ color navy; 355 yards, 7 ounces (325 meters, 199 grams) per skein

Crochet Hooks:

• Size 5.0 mm (US H/8) crochet hook for the main body of blanket
• Size 4.5 mm (US G/7) crochet hook for the border

Yarn Quantities:
For the blanket I made while creating this pattern, I used approximately 5.5-6 skeins of the ‘I Love This Yarn!’ navy color (355 yards per skein) and 5-5.5 skeins of the ‘I Love This Yarn!’ ivory color (355 yards per skein). This will create a blanket approximately 53” (width) x 55” (height) without the border, and 57” x 59” with the border.
