PATTERN NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Simply named after the ‘diamond’ shaped lace pattern.

I rated this pattern as INTERMEDIATE as I think it is suitable for an advanced beginner who can knit, purl, increase, decrease and read simple charts.
It is great for a first lace project or for a first time reading charts!

Please note that this is a chartered pattern only.

Size:
Un-stretched the brim circumference is 15in / 38cm, the ribbed band is very stretchy and will comfortably fit most women.

Instructions are given for 2 hat styles: regular/moderately slouchy and slouchy (as shown in picture). Make the scarf in your choice of width and length!

To give you an idea of the yardage I made 2 versions of this set:

GREEN, 4 balls used:
Very slouchy hat, the scarf dimensions are 63 x 8.5in / 160 x 21.5 cm.

ORANGE, 3 balls used:
Standard fit/slightly slouchy hat, scarf dimensions are 56 x 8.5in / 142 x 21.5cm.
