The Diona tee is a stylish short-sleeved summer tee with a cable pattern on the front and the back and 2x2 ribbing on the sleeves and the sides. The collar is started with a twisted 1x1 ribbing that flows into a beautiful and classic cable pattern on the front and the back.

The Diona tee is knitted seamlessly in one piece from the top down, with well-thought and polished details such the neat and stretchy tubular bind off edges and short-row shaping for the front neck. All techniques and steps are explained in the pattern.

The body is slightly cropped so it’s perfect to pair with a dress, a skirt or a pair of high waisted pants, but the length is easily modified for a longer fit. Note that changing the length of the body will affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the tee, so if you want a longer tee, make sure you get a few extra balls of yarn.

The pattern is written for two strands of fingering weight silk yarn held together, but you can also use a single strand of DK weight yarn.
