This pattern has a small amount of colorwork around the top of the sock and then some more in the foot section before the toe. You can make the Waves as deep or as shallow as you like for ‘dipping your toe in’. This is currently a 64 stitch pattern and worked on 2.25mm needles and going up a size for the colorwork if required. The pattern calls for 2.25 and 2.5 9 inch circular needles or your preferred knitting needles for your technique. 5 double pointed needles, unless using magic loop, stitch holder, stitch markers, darning needle and scissors. I used Paintbox sock yarn and Opal 4 ply yarn which are 100g skeins. this leaves plenty of each for other projects.

The yellow and purple sock is from a lovely test knitter. Great colour combination. Look forward to hopefully seeing more from fellow knitters
