Disaster Sweater
Nothing in this pattern went to plan. I didn’t correctly account for the weight and stiffness difference between the knit and crochet sections. I measured my gauge wrong. I ran out of my contrast color of yarn. But, I refused to frog it and start over so this is what I ended up with.
Materials:
2.5 Skeins of Mulberry Big Twist Twinkle Yarn
(Approx. 1000 yds/9oz of medium/size 4 worsted yarn)
.33 Skein of Butter Yellow Big Twist Shine Yarn
(Approx. 75 yds/2oz of light/size 3 worsted yarn)
Tools:
4mm crochet hook
8mm knitting needles
Tapestry needle for sewing up
Skills (Intermediate):
Crochet – basic granny square (dc, ch, sl st), sc, blo and basic color change
Knit – stockinette & rib stitch, pick up and knit, and basic color change
