This hat celebrates that part of you that never stopped dreaming of a trip to the moon! The pattern uses stranded colorwork and duplicate stitch to make your very own rocket ship in a starry sky, while the Ladderback Jaquard method helps keeps tension in the floats at the back of the work consistent.

Materials:
Yarn:

  • Color A: approximately 10g fingering weight yarn in an earth color (green, brown, or even red if you want to visit Mars!)
  • Color B: approximately 10g fingering weight yarn in sky color (blue or grey)
  • Color C: approximately 30g black fingering weight yarn
  • Color D: approximately 15g of white fingering weight yarn
  • Color E: approximately 2g of fingering weight yarn in flame color (orange, yellow, or red)

Needles:

  • US size 2 (2.75mm) 16in/40cm circular needle
  • US size 3 (3.25mm) 16in/40cm circular needle
  • US size 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles
