Skimeister Scarf
Reminiscent of moguls and choppy snow, and perfect for a day on the slopes, the Skimeister Scarf combines seed stitch and basic cables to create a scarf that is both classic and visually interesting. The pattern would make a great first cable project for beginning knitters, or a relaxing project for the more experienced.
Materials:
- Approximately 275 yds/250 m DK weight yarn for scarf with 19 repeats of main pattern
- US size 7 (4.5mm) needles
- Cable needle
- Tapestry needle
- Optional stitch markers
Gauge:
23 stitches x 21 rows = 4in/10cm in main pattern
Sizing:
One size, easily adjustable. Width: 4.5in/11cm Length: 67in/170cm for a scarf with 19 repeats of main pattern.
