This is a tapestry crochet blanket made in half treble (UK crochet terms) stitches. There are written instructions on how to start the blanket and how to add the border, but there is a chart to follow for the colour changes for the main part of the blanket.

The blanket features fun, colourful diamonds which repeat up the blanket in different colour combinations. I have listed the colours that I used, but you could of course use any colours you wish!

Yarn: DK weight yarn

Stylecraft Special DK in 7 colours, 1 ball of each (plus some white for the border)

Shades:
Yarn A - Sherbert 1034
Yarn B - Lemon 1020
Yarn C - Clematis 1390
Yarn D - Apricot 1026
Yarn E - Fondant 1241
Yarn F - Aspen 1422
Yarn G - Wisteria 1432
Yarn H – White 1001

I used 3.5mm hook, but you my want to use a different size to suit how loosely/tightly you stitch using the tapestry crochet technique.

The blanket measures 85 x 122cm but the pattern is adaptable - there are instructions on how to increase or decrease the width of the starting chain.

I have written the pattern in UK crochet terms but I have included a table which shows how to convert these into US terms.
