DJ's Favorite Fingerless Mitts
This pattern was designed for the Something Just Like This Zine.
The finished fingerless mitten features a bold textured repeating soundwave motif. Negative space makes a nifty zig-zag along the side of the hand. Only two simple decorative stitches are needed to get this super cool effect. The gloves are symmetrical so instructions and charts are included for left and right
This is an intermediate pattern knit in the round. If you’re comfortable with mock cables/twist stitches, or are ready to learn, this pattern is for you.
Yarn: Any sport or DK weight yarn will work just fine. The pattern sample in knit using Symfonie Viva (DK) in colorway Tumeric.
Needles: US size 4/3.5mm double pointed needles or circular needles.
Notions: Stitch markers, a yarn needle for weaving in ends, a crochet hook (if desired for a particular cast on).
