This pattern is available from loudntired.bigcartel.com for $5.00.

This pattern was designed for the Something Just Like This Zine.

The finished fingerless mitten can be worn long, or scrunched up short to mimic the appearance of Sensei’s favorite scarf, hence the pattern name.

This is an adventurous beginner pattern knit in the round. It’s ideal for practicing casting on and casting off and only uses one basic increase and decrease. While there is a lot of casting on and casting off, this pattern only has one tail to weave in at the end!

Yarn: Any sport or DK weight yarn will work just fine. The pattern sample in knit using Cape Cod Yarns Dennis (sportweight) in colorway Harbor Seal.

Needles: US size 4/3.5mm double pointed needles or circular needles.

Notions: Stitch markers, a yarn needle for weaving in ends, a crochet hook (if desired for a particular cast on).
