I knit my Christmas socks using this basic sock pattern. It’s knitted in the round, and has a flap and gusset heel. It’s one of those patterns that looks complicated - but once you’ve done it you’ll realise how easy sock knitting really is, and you’ll be hooked!

You will need approx. 90-100 grams of yarn. Double knit mini skeins are great to use because you can mix and match colours.
Or why not go completely crazy and use all of your left over yarn to destash while creating a unique pair of socks!
