Dock Street Beanie is a soft, stretchy hat with subtle texture and structure. A simple two-stitch cable is worked into alternating knit columns over a 2x2 rib base, adding a bit of texture and movement while keeping the overall look clean and simple.

It’s an easy knit with just enough detail to keep it interesting — great for confident beginners and relaxing for seasoned knitters.

The pattern includes two sizes:

Size 1 is a more fitted beanie - to fit 19–22” / 51–56 cm head circumference

Size 2 has a slightly slouchier silhouette - to fit: 21–24” / 56–61 cm head circumference

The crown comes together with a neat finish that keeps the rhythm of the ribbing intact. The result is a modern, wearable hat that works beautifully in tonal, solid, or lightly speckled DK-weight yarns.

Details:
• Written for two adult sizes
• Uses approx. 132 (148) yards / 121 (135) meters
• One skein of Swanky DK (115g/250yds) is sufficient for either size
• Easy to adjust for more or less slouch

Available as a free download for one week — offer ends June 9, 2025.
