This hat can be made in any gauge and from newborn to toddler.
There is no need for a gauge swatch.

You start at the top and work until it is the size you want.

It can be made using the Magic Loop method or two pair of circular needles.

You will need a small amount of yarn for the ribbed “dog collar” and black for the ears.

In my other Dog Hat pattern I Fixed the ears so they have better shape but left this pattern as free in case someone likes it
