Inspired by the rich colors of 1960’s tapestry fabrics, this versatile garment can be worn as a scarf, shawl, cape, or poncho. The simple stitch repeat combines with long color shifts in the yarn to create a complex visual effect in an easy knit.

Thin toggle buttons and an open fabric allow for folding and fastening to create various shapes and styles.

Yarn Choices
Option A (shown): Green Mountain Spinnery Ragg-Time in 3 colors and Mewesic in 2 colors. Sample shown in GMS Ragg-Time Thelonius, Coltrane, and Waller, with Mewesic Green Eyed Lady and Purple Haze.

Option B: Green Mountain Spinnery Ragg-Time in 4 colors, such as Joplin, Waller, Bessie, Dizzy.

Choose woolen-spun DK weight yarns that have a long color repeat, and colors that contrast so that the stripes are visible.
