This headband is very eye catching with a split cable pattern using both knit and purl stitches. It is knitted fat and seamed at the end with some shaping at each end. It matches the Double Dutch Cabled Cowl.

The cabled pattern is slightly more unusual than some other cables you may have knitted in the past, but it is very effective, but you will soon pick up the repeating pattern. This means that this is the ideal project for working on whilst you are watching the TV.

It is also quite quick to knit up so would make a great last minute gift if you fnd yourself needing to whip something up from your stash. You could also make the cowl to match!

The headband takes approx 40g of aran weight yarn, depending upon which size you decide to make, so it is a great project for using up that left over ball.
