Whether you have a ton of yarn you’d like to use up or you want to make a mindless, colorful blanket, you’re going to love the Double Strand Scrap Blanket. This crochet pattern is easy, beginner friendly, and works up fairly quickly for a blanket. This pattern is worked by holding a double strand throughout the entire blanket and only uses the half double crochet stitch.

One of the great things about this blanket is you can make it completely your own. Use the colors you have in your stash. You don’t have to make even rows, but I do think you should separate each color with a line of white because it’s nice to differentiate the colors.

I can’t wait to see what you come up with and how you make this Double Strand Scrap Blanket your own! Be sure to post your projects on Ravelry. I would love to see them.
