This gorgeous lacy wrap is luxuriously light and airy, perfect for year round wear. The size 1 yarn creates a fabric that drapes as well as a store bought item. Wear it as a scarf, infinity scarf, wrap tied in the front, wrap thrown across the shoulder, beach cover up or any other way that you can imagine!

The Dovetail Wrap pattern uses an easy two row repeat and the stitches that you will be working are the chain, single crochet, 3-dc puff stitch and the triple crochet. There are written instructions included in the “Special Stitches” section of the pattern that indicate how to work the 3-dc puff stitch. And, there is also a stitch chart.

You will need 2 skeins (approximately 1,300 yds) of size 1 light weight yarn OR you can use a heavier weight yarn if you prefer. You can adjust the foundation chain by using a multiple of 6 + 2 or you can keep the foundation chain the same size and simply have a larger wrap. Use whatever hook size is recommended on the packaging of your yarn choice.

The hook size recommended for this project is E/4 (3.50 mm).

The finished wrap measures 14” Width x 67½” Length.

This pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.
