If you ever wanted to attach a dragon knight to your bag but he was just too big, look no further! This is a micro version of my dragon knight and firefighter pattern, specifically designed to work as a bag charm. I also revised the instructions a little bit to make it even easier to make than my bigger dragon.

I recommend using yarns and hooks close to what I’ve used (2.5 mm hook, sport/dk weight yarn) to make sure that the size works for a bag charm. All colors and yarns are specified in the pattern.

The pattern includes instructions for a tiny dragon and all the accessories to turn him into a knight and/or firefighter:

• knight’s helmet (with movable visor and BIG AND SCARY horns)
• firefighter’s helmet (with surface crochet details) (don’t worry, both helmets fit well over dragon’s horns)
• sword and shield (tiny!)
• firefighter’s jacket (with reflective stripes and a special cutout to fit over dragon’s wings)
