She wants a tatoo shaped like a dragon. She knows just what it will be like: a sinewy, lithe creature with red scales, golden ornaments at the tip of each. It will wrap around her. Just thinking about it makes her feel fierce and strong, and lucky. Powerful. All qualities associated with dragons. Though she would never boast about such things, she is also dragon loyal and generous.

When she saw this little purse, she decided that she must make one. She knew she would carry it with her, her lucky change purse, her lucky wallet. But she also knew she wanted to give the gift of the dragon to her dear friends, her sister, her mother, her daughter.

For the hardware, she used one of the On The Go! purse kits because she wanted to add the key chain to her own little dragon so she could clip it to her belt loop when she was out, or to the inside of her backpack when she was on a hike.

She lined her little dragon with a beautiful brocade surprise. It wasn’t hard. She didn’t even need a sewing machine. She just looked at Nora’s IGTV videos @nonipatterns on finishing tiny purses and followed the directions.

Other Materials
• US size 7 (4.5mm) set of 5 double-pointed needles
• 2 locking or other stitch markers in different colors to mark the side seam and the beginning of the round - I use locking markers because I can clip them to the work if I choose to divide the stitches along the side seams.
• Sewing needle for finishing work
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Locktite Super Glue “Extra Time Control” or clear-drying fabric glue
• 1 Noni Flirt Purse Frame plus Seed Beads and Thread or purchase the On The Go Hardware Kit to make this into a key chain purse.
• 1/8 yd (.11m) lining fabric (optional)
