Dragon Tail is seamless, top-down, contiguous, no-finishing sweater. It needs to blocked, but other than that it’s ready-to-wear as soon as it’s off the needles. The central chevrons panel visually slims the silhouette, and also shapes the neck (it’s a square neck, technically) and bottom of the sweater.
This sweater can be knit color-blocked, or in any stripe sequence, even random. Great for stash-busting.
For the prototype shown (XS/S), I used almost 3 full skeins of Madelinetosh light merino, approximately in equal amounts.
Please note that sweater on the bottom photo is knit with stockinette stitch; the pattern is for all-garter.
This pattern complements Dragontail and Rainbow’s End.
