A very easy and relaxing knit. Drunken chevrons.The chevrons can slide in any direction, symmetrically or at an angle. The pattern has two options shown.
Because it’s all garter, the fabric is reversible, and does not roll at the edges.
Any stripes sequence will show beautifully with this pattern. You can also knit it with two contrasting gradient yarns (Noro, Zauberball, and similar), or gradient/solid combination.
And last but not least…. the pattern is perfect that skein of precious self-striping sock yarn that is simply too good to knit socks with. For a scarf (approx 20 X 150 cm), one skein (400m) is enough.
