This beautiful Shawl is a ‘must-try’ for beginners! The apparently intricate pattern of dragonflies, marked out in the Shawl, can be achieved using easy to master stitches. Photos of some of the techniques used for the special stitches are included, for ease of reference, together with clearly written instructions. The pattern uses basic crochet stitches, and so this shawl is a project for the confident beginner.
A beautiful Shawl can be made in a relatively short time, and would make a perfect ‘Handmade With Love’ gift for both young and old! This pattern would work with any weight of wool. In this version of the pattern – ‘Sweet Pea Meadows’, the shawl is created with a combination of chunky and DK weight yarn, but you could use other combinations.
