The Dragonfly Cord pattern is part of a set of three jewelry patterns designed specifically to accompany an in-depth article about Love Knots (a.k.a. Lover’s Knot, Solomon’s Knot). The other two in the set are the Sambuca Cord Necklace and Seagrapes Cord Anklet.

Each jewelry cord pattern illustrates a specific way to add beads to the Love knot stitch. The Dragonfly focuses on beading the “knot” part of Love Knots in a way that the beads settle symmetrically (like dragonfly eyes) instead of in clumps.

This pattern also features an option to turn a simple necklace cord into a summery eyeglass cord by adding eyeglass grips at the cord ends.

Notions: Yarn needle; 42 glass beads size 6°; one pair of eyeglass grips (optional) or necklace clasp.

Gauge: 3 reps = 3”. Gauge is not critical for this project.
