2 double-pointed 2.5 mm knitting needles
Tapestry needle & scissors
Fingering Weight wool in various colours

ABBREVIATIONS & TECHNIQUES USED
K knit
P purl
INC increase: if on a knit row, knit into the front and then back of the stitch before slipping it off the left-hand needle. If on a purl row, purl into the front and then the back of the stitch before slipping it off the needle
K2TOG decrease: knit two stitches together
P2TOG decrease: purl two stitches together
TURN turn the work as if you have finished the line
CO cast off
STS stitches
MATTRESS STITCH sewing technique used to create invisible seams
