Photos of drifting sand were the inspiration for the Drift Cowl. The interplay of light and shadow suggested using two yarn bases in the same colorway. I chose 29 Bridges Studio’s Non-superwash Sock and Suri Silk in Rose Gold to bring this project to life.

Gauge is provided so you can achieve a similar-sized cowl to the one shown here, and will have enough yarn to complete the project. For the stitch count, the yarnover is considered part of the accompanying slipped stitch. The measurements are taken from a swatch of brioche rib after it has been blocked.
