Toe up socks with a pretty lace feather and garter stitch panel running up the outside edge of each sock.

This pattern is written for toe up socks knitted two at a time using the magic loop method. However, you could easily knit them one at a time or use a different method, such as DPN’s. You will need to know how to cast on for toe up socks, be familiar with basic lace knitting techniques and have some understanding of how to work a German short row heel.

These socks have a pretty lace panel framed by columns of garter stitch. The pattern runs up the outside section of each sock so the instructions for the left and right foot are slightly different. Although the lace repeat is 16 rows long, it is easy to memorise and rhythmic to knit.

I knit my socks on 2mm (US size 0) needles as I have a fairly loose tension. I would suggest you use your regular sock knitting needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

This pattern includes instructions for a rounded toe which I find fits many foot shapes very well. The socks are knit with a garter stitch German short row heel which gives more stretch and room than a standard short row heel.

Includes both a written pattern and charts.
