This stitch pattern was inspired by the idea of petals drifting on the wind - like blossom petals from trees. It is a meditative pattern, with a memorable repeat, to allow you to mindfully crochet.

Two identical 4ply gradient yarn cakes by Crochet UK are used to create mirrored rectangular panels that go up and over the shoulder. These are then joined under the arm, before creating a decorative armhole edging, and joining at the central seams to form a top. An optional extra decorative border can then be added along the bottom edge of the top, however a picot edging is worked when working the rows of the top so is not compulsory.

All yarns featured in this pattern were created by Jody at Crochet UK - www.crochet-uk.co.uk.

Available in UK and US terms.
