Very addictive pattern. Worked in simple garter stitch with increases and decreases. No fancy techniques. One color per row. No intarsia. No wraps and turns, srsly. Practically reversible (see the wrong side on the title photo).
For a scarf 25-27cm wide and 170cm long, you will use no more than 150g (600 m) of fingering yarn. You can also use sport-weight; you’ll need to have 500-600 meters of it.
