Drops of Honey is simple and gorgeous shawl with bias construction, garter stitch and eyelets.

Starting with just one stitch, Drops of Honey is knitted diagonally with increases on one side and decreases on the other. The result is slightly asymmetric triangle shape that’s fun to knit and wear.

YARN
One skein of Lakes Yarn and Fiber Silk Single Fingering (70% merino wool, 30% silk; 398 m / 435 yds per 100 g). Shown in custom colour Drops of Honey.

Or approximately 400 m / 437 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.

NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle or size to obtain pattern gauge

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using an 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.

FINISHED SIZE After blocking
200 cm / 79 in (width) x 63 cm / 25 in (depth)

STITCHES USED
k: knit
kfb: knit to front and back loop of the same stitch
