DRYECK SHAWLETTE

The Dryeck Shawlette is as easy to wear as it is to knit. A cute little shawl in simple stockinette with some sliiiightly more advanced intarsia. Pick two shades of your favorite silk/mohair blend lace yarn and off you go! Perfect for the ongoing trend of tiny scarfs and shawls.

BTW: “Dryeck” is, of course, another spin on the German word Dreieck, which literally means triangle.

If you are new to intarsia, I recommend you knit the Skwaer Shawlette first and then tackle this pattern.

Yarn
The sample Dryeck is worked in Pascuali Manada in 212 Traube for the border and 221 Rose Quartz for the center. Other combinations of colours or yarns work fine as well, as long as both yarns have the same gauge.

Gauge and needles
18 sts × 33 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 in) worked flat in stockinette stitch, after washing and blocking.
Gauge is not too crucial for this pattern. It is possible to tweak the numbers a bit by blocking, so don’t be too precious about it!
