Enjoy making this bold and beautiful bralette. It’s sure to make a statement at a festival, at the beach, or for casual wear. This top comes in three sizes, the product includes a full private video tutorial and written pattern. The whole pattern is done in single crochet with increases and decreases, and uses simple colour changes keeping both yarns attached so you don’t have a million ends to weave in.

You must be a confident beginner with single crochet, counting stitches and reading a pattern, the rest will be taught.

You will need
• Yarn – weight 4 acrylic yarn in two colours. I used Red Heart Soft in minty and white
• 4.5mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Stitches
Sc = single crochet
Sc2tog= single crochet 2 together = sc decrease
Sc3tog = single crochet 3 together
Sk st = skip stitch (miss out the sc st)
Sl st = slip stitch
Ch = chain
YO = yarn over
BLO = back loop only

Sizing
The sizing is measured with the patterns slack on a table. As yarn stretches slightly you may want to size down if you want a tighter fit. The length around the band doesn’t include the gap at the back for the lace up section. The straps are long enough to make this anywhere from 1-5”.

Small 25” total length around band. 8.5” total height. 14.5” width cup to cup. Approx US size 2-4, UK size 6-8

Medium 27.5” total length around band. 9.5” total height. 16.5” width cup to cup. Approx US size 6-8, UK size 10-12

Large 30” total length around band. 10” total height. 18” width cup to cup. Approx US size 10-12, UK size 14-16.

Washing and care
Depending which yarn you choose, you may be able to wash your bralette in the washer on a delicate cycle and hang dry. Some acrylic yarns can go in the regular wash and dry cycle. It is sensible to put in a delicates/underwear garment bag to stop any threads getting caught in the machine.
