This yarn creates a softer, more fluid fabric than the original sample knit in Oat Linen, while offering a similar lightweight summer feel.

Dune Polo is a relaxed-fit summer top. Knitted from the top down, the back yoke is worked first with short rows used to shape the back neck and shoulders. Once the back yoke is complete, stitches are then picked up along it to work the fronts, where additional short rows shape the front shoulders. The double-knit front bands are then attached before the front yokes are joined and continued to completion. Once both yokes are complete, the front and back are joined to work the body in the round to the hem. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves. The sleeve caps are shaped using short rows, after which the sleeves are worked in the round to the hem. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline using the two-needle pick-up technique to work a double-layered collar in the round. The collar is finished by joining the live stitches with Kitchener stitch.

Top has approx. 8-10 cm / 3.1-3.9 inches of intended positive ease at the bust area. The sizes 3-6m (6-12m, 12-18m, 18-24m, 2-3y, 3-4y) are designed to fit a chest circumference of 43 (46, 49, 52, 54, 56) cm / 16.9 (18.1, 19.2, 20.4, 21.2, 22) inches.
