Welcome
Welcome to the Dünya Tee pattern! Dünya Tee is a lightweight, relaxed, boxy short-sleeve top designed for all-day comfort.
It is intentionally designed to be slightly sheer and airy, achieved by
working a relatively fine yarn on larger needles. The slightly cropped silhouette sits easy on the body without clinging, while the subtle shoulder shaping and German Short Rows on the sleeves
give it a clean, modern finish. The body is worked in a clean stripe sequence of 2 rows brown and 4 rows blue, while the sleeves are worked entirely in brown for contrast, making this a great project
to practise seamless construction and colorwork in the round.

Key Features
Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL
Construction: Top-down, worked flat for back and front pieces, then joined and worked seamlessly in the round for the body and sleeves.
Stripe Pattern: 2-row stripe in Colour A (brown), 4-row stripe in Colour B (blue), repeated throughout the body. Sleeves are worked entirely in Colour A.
Shoulder Shaping: German Short Rows (GSR) create a natural, slightly raised shoulder cap for a better fit.
Customisable Length: Instructions are given in both row counts and centimetre measurements so you can adjust the length to your preference.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate / Adventurous Beginner
Whether you are a seasoned knitter looking for a quick, stylish project or an adventurous beginner keen to learn techniques like German Short Rows and seamless construction, the Dünya Tee is a rewarding and versatile knit.

What You Need
Needles: 4 mm (US 6) circular needles (for body and sleeves); 3 mm (US 2.5) circular needles (for neck ribbing).
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holders or waste yarn.
Yarn Used in Sample: Alize Angora Gold (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool; 100g / 550 m per
skein), in two colours:
◦ Colour A (CA): Brown
◦ Colour B (CB): Blue
Used Amount in Sample (S): Approx. 103 g total.
Gauge: 15 sts × 25 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4 mm needles.
Tip: Always knit a gauge swatch. If your gauge is too tight (more stitches per 10 cm), move to a larger needle. If your gauge is too loose (fewer stitches per 10 cm), move to a smaller needle. Gauge may vary depending on yarn content and structure.

Happy Knitting!
