Errata: rows 55 and 59 of written instructions should read to repeat brackets 4 times. Corrected file is “Dust Jacket Scarf 1.2” - updated Nov 1, 2025.

The lightweight sibling to the Dust Jacket Cowl, this mosaic-knit scarf highlights the continual changes in a color-shifting yarn. Easy-to-work repeats offer just enough variation to get you into a comfortable rhythm while managing only one yarn at a time. Select a tonally-based contrast yarn for a graphic pop, or opt for a more adventurous palette for a fun project you won’t want to put down. The fingering weight yarn yields a great transition piece for those in-between temperatures.

Work a double-wrap cowl with just three pattern repeats or work four and a half repeats to create an adult-sized scarf.
