Yarn
50 -70 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 211 m (231 yds) per 50 g. The sample hat, size 132 sts was knitted with KnitPicks Palette, (100% Wool), 211 m/231 yds per 50 g and used 45 g.

2.75 mm/ US 2 and 3.25 mm/ US 3 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs.
