A friend who wanted to knit Easter Eggs for the seniors in her lodge approached me to help her find a pattern that was knit flat and had cross motifs in the pattern.
Unable to find anything suitable I decided to design one for her and this is the result.
This is a super easy knit that can be made from any weight yarn from sock yarn to worsted. It is knit flat and sewn up the back.
There are two pattern sizes available. When I knit the small one I realized a Kinder Egg was a perfect fit. So I suggest you use these to fill with eggs or jelly beans. After all, even seniors love surprises!
