Crochet cheery Easter eggs with a complimenting oval basket to display them as part of your springtime home decor. Basket will accommodate 4-5 of the jumbo eggs.

Basket is a crochet stitch that mimmicks a basketweave look. There is a video tutorial that helps you get the steps right for a good basket result. Basket is 14” long and 4” wide. Worked with two strands held together to add body and a bit of stiffness.

Supplies needed:
-4 and 5 mm crochet hooks
-stitch markers
-Poly fill for stuffing eggs
category 4 yarn (consider using up your stash to make the eggs!)

Set can be made within just a few days depending on how much time is allowed. Once you become comfortable with the basic 4.25” egg pattern you can get creative with coloring because of the generous size.
