An easy one-piece crochet poncho with no shaping and no sewing. Made in a simple garter-look stitch, it’s a relaxing beginner-friendly project you’ll wear for years.

The garter stitch is achieved through a simple 2-row repeat: each row you are repeating 1st - alternating between slip stitch in back loop and slip stitch in front loop. So if you can chain and do the slip stitch, you can make this poncho!

As it is done with a 10mm hook, it will crochet up pretty quickly, and the large hook size gives the fabric a lovely soft texture that has a nice drape. Plus it won’t feel heavy.

The poncho calls for approx. 875g of worsted yarn.
