Easy Cabled Cushion
by Lou Mott
This is an easy cabled cushion pattern for beginners to tackle. The individual cables are knitted in separate strips and then sewn together afterwards, so that the beginner only has to do one cable at once. It is a good introduction to cables.
The pattern is for one cushion size, 16 inch by 16 inch.
Different aran weight yarn could be used, but a tension square should be done to check the size achieved.
One 400g ball of Hayfield bonus aran, or aran tweed, should be enough to create 2 cushion covers.
