Learn to knit Entrelac with this easy to follow tutorial style pattern! Use a self-striping yarn with long color changes for dramatic results.

Materials:
• Set of US #8 or 9 straight needles –Select a needle size that works best with your yarn and how you knit – tight knitters may want to use a needle one size larger than recommended for their yarn. No gauge is provided, since it depends on the yarn you select.
Although entrelac can be worked back and forth on a circular needle, it is much easier to read your knitting while learning if you use straight needles.

Any worsted to aran weight yarn. Two 50 gram balls will make a scarf 50-60 inches long x 6-7 inches wide. Sample shown is knit with 2 balls Schoppel-Wolle Reggae Ombre.
Suggested yarns for self striping:
Noro Kureyon (110 yds/50gm)
Schoppel-Wolle Reggae Ombre (110 yds/50gm)
Schoppel-Wolle Gradient (284 yds/100gm)
Noro Silk Garden (110 yds/50gm)
