Twisted headbands are everywhere right now, and this one brings a knit-look crochet stitch to the party. The stitch is easy to learn, so relaxing to work up, and the texture is so rewarding.

It’s made in rounds as a tube, then sewn together in a clever way to create that twisted look. A great project for beginners. Free on my blog too.

• Knit look, all crochet. Split single crochet gives a smooth, knit-like texture.
• Twisted finish. A simple seaming trick creates the twist.
• Adjustable fit. Work more or fewer rounds to match any head.

• Yarn: Swish Worsted, WeCrochet (worsted, 100% superwash merino, 110 yds/50g), 2 skeins, about 150 to 190 yds per headband. Colors shown: Estuary Heather, Copper, Nutmeg Heather
• Hook: H (5.0mm), or size to obtain gauge
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers · Yarn Needle · Scissors
