A quick and easy knit poncho worked flat in stockinette stitch on 20 mm circular needles (80cm/32” long). This beginner-friendly pattern includes multiple yarn options—use one strand of super chunky yarn, OR three strands of worsted held together, or other combinations (advice in pattern, but basically you can play with 3 different thickness yarn and check your gauge). You can use 3 single coloured strands held together or - 1 strand variegated + 2 strands single colour. Perfect for stash and scrap yarn busting, with simple decreases and a modern oversized look. Sizes S/M/L and XL/2XL.

Yarn as per sizes: 300g/400g of worsted if using 3 strands of worsted together. But even if you combine say 1 strand chunky, 1DK, 1 sport/fine, the total will still come to this weight.

The 20mm needles give it a real loose, stretchy feel, and a modern look. Plus - it knits up real fast - definitely a one weekend project, which is great going for a garment.
