Peerie” is Shetland Dialect for small - and in knitting is used to describe fairisle knits with small repeats.

They are the easiest to knit as there is no catching of floats (don’t worry if you don’t know what that is - if you’re new to stranded knitting that will be the next stage)

A motif like this is good for a beginner - but it also makes for restful for an experienced knitter - perfect for holiday knitting.

If you’ve never tried before, you might like to try knitting with one colour in each hand - this is the perfect type of pattern to practice on.

A table is provided so you can choose your favourite weight to knit with (fingering to aran).
