Yarn: You can use any size 4 (medium) yarn. I used Impeccable yarn by Loops & Threads. This yarn is size 4 (medium) and 100% acrylic. A skein is 285 yds / 260 m and 4.5 oz / 127.5 g. Here are the approx. amounts of yarn you will need along with the colors I used:
Snowman Body – 35 yds (“White”)
Hat & Mouth – 15 yds (“Black”)
Nose – 1 yd (“Pumpkin”)
Scarf – 15 yds (“Cherry” and “Dark Emerald”)

Crochet Hook Size: G/7 (4.50 mm).

Other Materials: A stitch marker, polyester stuffing, two 0.25” craft eyes (warning: eyes are a choking hazard for children under 3), a yarn needle, scissors and a measuring tape. Optional: a Christmas tree hook.
