This is a sock pattern for knitters who fear socks. There is no increasing, no decreasing, no kitchener, no fiddly figure 8 toe up cast on. No yarn chicken, no tiny balls of leftover yarn. It is sport weight so it knits up quickly but is still thin enough to fit in your average shoe. It features an offset cable for flair in an otherwise sedate ribbed sock.

This pattern uses the Fish Lips Kiss Heel which is $1.00 and totally worth it.

The size of the sock can be altered slightly by size of yarn/needle or more profoundly by adding or removing repeats of the 3:1 rib.

Materials needed

Approximately 300 yards of sport/DK yarn, I used 2 skeins of Valley Superwash Sport.
3mm circular needle long enough for magic loop or size needed to obtain gauge of 6.5 sts, 9 rows per inch.
