Eclipse Garland
Crochet your own eclipse!
To celebrate the total eclipse here in Buffalo, we’ve created this DIY eclipse in the spirit of the maker space!
The various motifs are each made separately and then joined with a long chain.
Yarn used is just a suggestion, this is a great stash-busting project and uses only a small amount of each yarn.
Yellow ~83 yards
Black ~60 yards
Orange ~10 yards
Each motif is approximately 4 1/2- 5 inches wide made with worsted weight yarn and a H/5mm hook, but gauge is not crucial, so your pieces maybe larger or smaller depending on your yarn and hook!
Pattern is suitable for an adventurous beginner.
Stitches needed to make this project are:
Chain
Slip Stitch
